Domain Users
This page is used to search for users.

Note: This option is applicable only for the  On Demand (Hosted) version of SamePage, administrators can access this page through the Domain Administration screen.
               For On Premise versions see System Administration

To access this page follow the below given steps:

  • Click on the administration tab  on the toolbar.
  • Once on the administration console page, click on the Domain users  tab.
  • The page provides a search box.
  • Enter the user name you are searching for, if the user name is not know, enter the starting alphabet.(eg: when 'a' is entered, all the usernames starting with 'a' will be returned).
  • Users can also be searches for based on their user status. The 3 types of user status are as follows
    • Active Users: Once the user registers with SamePage, he/she is created with an active status.
    • Inactive users: Registered users can be inactivated if required. Inactive users will not even be allowed to sign in and hence cannot access any projects.
    • Pending Users: These are users who have been invited to register, but have not gone through with the registration as yet.

  

 


is SamePage 3.4.1. The Domain Administrator has an option to transfer ownership of pages from one user to another. For more information on transfer of ownership see Domain Transfer Ownership.
To change the status of any of the users, click on the username from the list. This will open the edit users page.
On the edit users page the status of the user can be changed from active to inactive or vice versa.
Active users can also be deleted by clicking on the 'Delete' button
  in SamePage 3.4.1. There is an option to reset password of an user on the  edit user screen. When the 'Reset Password' button is clicked on, the password is reset to 'password'
Users who have been invited but not accepted the invite yet are lists with a 'Pending' status. These users can be deleted by clicking on the delete button.
