Forum is a packaged application within eTouch SamePage. It facilitates a discussion for all the members of a project.
The Forum page shows a list of all threads along with information like the author (who created the thread), its date of creation, number of replies to that thread, last updated date and last user to update the thread.
This list can be re-ordered on any field by clicking on the field header.
Clicking the same field header again toggles the list between ascending and descending orders.
In the example below, the threads are ordered descending on the basis of "Last updated on" field.
 Note: The 'Last Updated on' and 'Last Updated by' columns actually show the 'Last Commented on' and 'Last Commented by' values respectively.

The access level of a guest user is identical for a forum and the project the forum is a part of.

Guests can read the forum postings and reply to existing threads.

New Thread
A new thread can be posted by clicking on the "Post a new thread" link at the top of the list.
Just like a new page, a new thread opens with a WYSIWYG editor in the edit mode and allows all features like attaching files and embedding images.

Update an Existing Thread
Click on a particular thread name from the list to go to the detailed page of that thread.
It shows an archive of all the comments posted for that thread. It also provides form fields to post your comments.
