Include page or URL

The include plugin allows the user to add the contents from another internal or external page to the current page.
A plugin can be added to a page using the 'Include a page or URL' option available on the WYSIWYG editor toolbar.

Clicking on this option, opens up a pop-up input screen the accepts the destination page information.

To plugin contents of a local page
  • Click on the page option and specify the page name and project name.
  • Select and insert link to edit option to allow editing of the added page.
To plugin contents of an external page
  • Click on the 'External URL' option.
  • Enter the correct address of an external page as a well formed URL. (example: http://www.yahoo.com)

To change the display attributes of the added pages, set the width, height, border and overflow options.

For example if an External URL (www.etouch.net) is to be added onto a page, select the 'External URL' option and enter the URL in the box provided. Click on 'OK' and the URL will be added as 'Include' plugin on the page. Once the page is saved the entire website will appear on the page.

The following screen shots show the outputs on the edit mode and view mode.

When an internal page is added the output will be similar, with the page being added as an include plugin on the edit mode and the page appearing when the page is saved.
