Page permissions for user groups are set in the same way as for individual users. Permissions can be assigned using the 'Permissions' link under the 'Actions' tab on the toolbar.
To set page permissions for user groups:
- On the permissions link under the 'Actions' tab on the toolbar
- When the pop up for permissions opens up, click on the 'Groups' tab. All the groups with membership to the current project will be displayed
- On the groups tab, check or uncheck the privilege check boxes associated with each user group.
- Click on 'Save' to save the updated settings.
As the group permissions are similar to the individual user permissions. The following screen shot shows an example for setting page permissions for groups.
From the above given example it can be seen that there are 2 member groups, namely 'Family' and 'Co-Workers'
Selecting the read and comment options for the group 'Family' (as given in the example screen shot) will grant read and comment permission to the group 'Family'. This means that the group 'Co-Workers' do not have any permissions .
