Profile
User profile information can be viewed or updated by clicking on the 'Profile' tab.
The profile tab can be viewed by clicking the 'My Settings' option on the top right corner of every page.
Profile settings allow the user to change personal account information.
The following user profile information can be updated on the profile tab:

First and Last Name
-
Email
-
Password
If the password is to be changed
- Check the box to activate the following three fields.
- Enter the old password.
- Enter the new desired password.
- Type in the new password once again to confirm.
- Click Update to save the new password.
Preferences
SamePage customization functions allow users to customize the look and feel of pages in a project.
A user can set display preferences in the 'Preferences' tab.
This tab can be viewed by clicking the 'My Settings' option on the top right side of every page.
The following preferences can be customized by the user:

Choose a theme using the a theme pull-down list.The available options are 'Default', ' Ocean' and 'Chocolate.'

Starting SamePage 3.5,there are 2 new themes 'Forest' and 'Spring' available. The 'Classic' theme has been discontinued starting from SamePage 3.5. For more on the different themes click here.

Configure fonts using the font family and font size drop-down lists.

Use the project filter drop-down list to select projects to be viewed.

Configure the number of items to be viewed per page using the items per page field.

Enable or disable email notifications, forum notifications and support notifications.

Starting SamePage 3.5 , the user can set preferences to enable or disable 'News Notifications' and 'Daily Digest'

Enable or disable the WYSIWYG editor.

The 'Locale' field can be set to the language of the user's choice. Once this field is set to a particular language, the SamePage UI for that user will appear in the selected language.

The 'Navigation' field can be set to 'Vertical' or 'Horizontal' depending on the users choice to view a vertical or horizontal toolbar.
Note: This 'Locale' field is set to 'English,United States' by default.

In both On Demand and On Premise versions , French and Polish interfaces out-of-the-box will be supported.
In the case of 'On Demand' versions, the domain administrator can choose to restrict specific locales for their domain. For more information of how this can be done click on Domain Administration. Other users can choose their locale if they have not been restricted by the domain administrator.
For On-Premise versions, end-users can always choose their default locale from the available selection.
Click Update to save and apply your preferences.
