The 'Project Administration' is a console that allows the project administrator to configure the project membership details and project attributes.
It also allows advanced administration tasks to be performed on packaged capabilities like forum, support and inbox.
A domain administrator or other project members with appropriate permissions can configure projects in the project administration console.
Note: Project administration was referred to as Project dashboard in all versions before SamePage 3.3

Project Administration Panels
The following project related panels are part of the project administration screen:
Tell Others about this Project
The 'Tell Others about this Project' panel is available to all users with read permissions for the project.It allows Project members to send email notifications to others, indication them about the existence of the project.
Project members cannot send invitations to others to join the project.

Request Project Membership
The 'Request Project Membership' panel is available to all signed-in users with read permissions on the project. It allows them to request the project owner for project membership.
It also provides an option to send their request in the form of an e-mail notification.
The request project membership panel is not visible to existing project members.

Project Membership
The 'Project Membership' panel is available only to project members.It displays the name of the project owner and provides a link to view existing project members.
Project administrators and project owners can invite, add and remove members and update permissions on the view.Other project members are allowed only to view a list of other members.
Project members are a section of registered users who belong to one or more projects.Members and non members are sub sections under registered users .
Members can either be individual members or can be part of a group.
The relationship between the various class or users are as follows.
Note:Any single registered user may belong to one or more groups and may be members or one or more projects

Project Attributes
The 'Project Attributes' panel is visible only to project administrators. It allows them to update project name, description and project permissions for non- members (registered or logged-in users and anonymous or guest users).
Note: Starting from SamePage 3.4, the project name, description and content will now support multi lingual material.

Logged in and anonymous user access permissions can be any of the following:
- None - No access the project.
- Read - Read access to project pages.
- Read + Moderated Comment - Read and comment on project pages. Comments are moderated by page owner/project administrators.
- Read + Comment - Read and comment on project pages.
- Read + Comment + Edit - Read, comment and edit project pages.
Projects can also be deleted by the project administrator using the 'Delete Project' button. (Use with Extreme Caution).

Advanced Actions
The 'Advanced Actions Panel' is visible only to project administrators. It allows them to perform administrative actions either on the entire project or on specific spaces (news/forum/support etc).
The following administrative actions can be performed on the advanced actions panel:
- Republish - To republish all project pages using the XML data stored internally. This action is required only if some pages are corrupted.
- Delete - To delete one or more spaces within a project. All associated content in the selected spaces are deleted (Use with extreme caution)
- Initialize - To initialize one or more spaces within a project. Deleted spaces have to be initialized before any content can be created.
- Re-index - To re-create the search index to provide accurate search results. This action is required only if the search index is corrupted.
- Download as html - To download a project as a fully navigable HTML site that can be browsed even offline.
- Download as PDF -To download the complete project as a PDF file that can be saved and browsed even offline. Starting from SamePage 3.4, international content can also be downloaded as PDF.
- Export - To exports a project as a zip file (with content stored as XML). This zip file can be imported to a different instance of SamePage, where a similar new project needs to created.
