Text searches can be performed on the contents of blog posts and their attachments. The scope of the search can be set to either all posts in a particular blog or to posts in all blogs within that work space or domain.
The 'Search Blogs' panel allows a user to search for interesting blog posts or tags.
 Note :Tags were referred to as Topics in all SamePage versions before 3.3

The 'Search Blogs' panel is context sensitive. It displays different information under the 'Search Blogs' text box, depending on whether a blog, post or all blogs are being viewed and depending on whether the user is logged in.
- A Recent postings panel is displayed along side the My blogs panel, when viewed by logged in users.
- Blog topic panels, pre-classified by Tags, Month and Year, are displayed when individual blog pages are viewed.
- A 'Post Attachments' panel is displayed when an individual posts are viewed.

When searches are performed from a particular blog page, they can be further refined using the "this blog only" check box. This check box allows the user to specify whether to search within a particular blog or all blogs in the domain. This check box is displayed only when viewing individual blog pages.
