SamePage supports powerful navigation capabilities using a context-sensitive toolbar on every page.
The toolbar provides access to different SamePage features. It is customized based on page type and user role.
The page specific toolbar provides easy links for navigation and to perform frequently used functions.
Starting from SamePage 3.4.2, the toolbar can be seen vertically or horizontally. If vertical the toolbar can be viewed on the left side of the page. If horizontal the toolbar can be seen on top of the page, just below where the username is displayed.
To choose between the vertical and horizontal toolbar options, click on the 'My Settings' link and go to the 'Preferences' tab. Here the user can set the 'Navigation' option to 'Vertical' for a vertical toolbar or 'Horizontal' for a horizontal toolbar. By default this field is set to 'Vertical.'
Note: Project administration was referred to as Project dashboard in all versions before SamePage 3.3
