The view tab is used to view the contents of the current page. Navigation links tracing the page hierarchy within the project and the domain, are displayed on the top left of the view tab. These links can be used to quickly navigate to pages preceding the current page in the hierarchy.
Relevant information about the page including date and time of last modification, user name, version, owner name and attachments are displayed on the left hand side of the page just below the page title.
The View Tab also displays the following icons on the top right corner:

Add to favorites: This option allows the user to add the page to the favorites list.

Add to watch list: This option allows the user to add a page to a watch list.

e-mail: This option allows the contents of a page to be e mailed to any project member. A link to the page can also be e mailed instead of the contents. The e-mail sent to the receiving member also includes a link to send in their comments.

Printable view: This option allows the user to see a printer-friendly view of the page

PDF: This option generates a PDF with the contents of the page. This provides a convenient method of saving page contents.

Word Document: This option generates a Word document with the contents of the page. This way the page can be easily saved.
Note: Attachments are not downloaded when the page is opened as a word document.

The number of attachments on the page is displayed on the left hand side just below the page title. The attachments option is now a click able link.
Click on 'Attachments' to view the attachments list displayed at the bottom of the page. To hide the attachments click on the 'Hide' link. To add, delete, update or download the attachments click on the attachments tab.
Note: Starting SamePage 3.4, the project name, description and content will now support multi lingual material.

in SamePage 3.6. All places that previously displayed the user name, will now display the users first and last name. For example the 'Modified by' and 'Owner' fields on the view tab used to display the user name in versions prior to 3.6. Now the users first name and last name will be displayed.
Starting from SamePage 3.5, the 'Comments' link is now click able and easily accessible. It can be seen after the 'Attachments' link just below the page name. Clicking on the 'Comments' link will take the user to the Discussion Tab where all the comments can be seen and new comments can be added.
The 'Versions' link can be seen just after the 'Comments' link just below the page name. Clicking on the version link opens up a page with a list of all the versions of that page. The number of versions of the page is displayed on the view tab next to the version link. The versions page essentially has the same information as the history tab (present in all versions of SamePage before 3.4), with some improvements. For more information see Version.
If the page you are viewing has any child pages, there is a link at the bottom of the page to display all the child pages of the current page.The number of child pages of the current page is also displayed. You can choose to see the list of child pages by clicking on the
icon at the bottom of the page. To hide the list click on 'Hide'.
On the view tab, towards the bottom of the page, there is an option to enter new tags and a short link to that page.

in SamePage 3.6. Just after the short link to the page is displayed, a 'Share' button can be seen. This is however see only if the social book marking property has been enabled by the domain or System administrator. Click on the share button to bookmark the particular page to any external website given in the list. Click on the 'More' option in the list to see more external websites to bookmark to.
