Wanted pages are like placeholder pages that a user creates dynamically while editing a page.
Users can choose to link the page they are working on to another page that does not exist at the time of linking but they want to create at a later time.
A wanted page can be created from the insert/modify link pop-up screen of the editor.
The wanted pages screen is a list of all such wanted pages within a project.
Wanted pages always appear in red font to distinguish them from regular pages and they have the
icon preceding their name.
The list shows the number of links against every wanted page. Click on that to see which pages are referencing that particular wanted page.
To edit the wanted page click on the edit tab. Once the wanted page is edited and saved it will be automatically be converted to a regular page.
To keep the page as a wanted page check the option when the page opens in edit mode.
Multiple wanted pages can also be selected to be deleted or moved to a different project.
It is a good house-keeping practice for project administrators/members to periodically review this list of wanted pages and either delete them or convert them to regular pages.
