Please find below the release announcements for all major, minor and service pack releases of eTouch SamePage. Click on the specific version to read about the significant changes and new features introduced in that version of eTouch SamePage.
v3.6.0.x.x - This is a minor release with some significant security enhancements and support for social bookmarking. A number of usability enhancements have also been bundled in this release.
v3.5.0.x.x - The 3.5 release is a minor version release of SamePage that incorporates support for internationalization of the UI, new team blogging features, blog support in MySQL and ticket assignment. With this release, all UI elements of SamePage including navigation menus, links and messages have been internationalized which means they are now packaged as resource-bundles. Resource bundles for languages other than English will be made available through this support site.
v3.4.2.x.x - This is a service pack release that has mostly bug-fixes. It also provides for configurable web app context. One crucial UI improvement is that users can choose to have a horizontal toolbar instead of a vertical one.
v3.4.1.x.x - This is a service pack release that has mostly bug-fixes and a few new features.
v3.4.0.x.x - The 3.4 release is a minor version release of SamePage that has some major enhancements to support multi-lingual content and versioning of attachments. Along with the 3.4 release, we also plan to release a Universal Import Tool to enable import of wiki as well as non-wiki HTML content into SamePage.There are a number of performance enhancements and usability improvements.
v3.3.0.x.x - The 3.3 release is a minor version release of SamePage that incorporates MySQL database support(beta), analytics, open-office integration and a number of new features and enhancements requested by our customers. It also offers a number of new plugins and more flexibility for on-premise customers.
v3.2.0.x.x - SamePage 3.2 is is a minor version release of SamePage that incorporates some important features like Watch a Page (Page Subscription) , Search Highlighting, Groups without LDAP as well as a number of usability features based on customer feedback. It also comes bundled with new plugins for Flash, YouTube, GoogleMaps etc.
v3.1.0.x.x - SamePage 3.1 is a minor version release of SamePage that incorporates some key enterprise features like ability to work seamlessly with LDAP Groups and Advanced Search. It also provides a new role Read-Only member for every project as well as Global Role Management to restrict project creation to specific users.
v3.0.0.x.x - SamePage 3.0.0 is a major release that is bundled with the production version of Blogs. It also has a number of new features including Copy Page, Templates, Advanced and Simple modes for WYSIWYG editing, notifications for threads/tickets etc. It also provides more options for plugins, improved UI and a number of minor bug-fixes.
v2.1.3.x.x - SamePage 2.1.3 is a service pack release that is bundled with a beta version of Blogs.It also features a number of new requested features like Favorites, Domain Admin Integration as well as usability improvements in editor, toolbar etc. New Child Page Hierarchy plugin and Redirect plugin have been introduced.
v2.1.2.x.x - SamePage 2.1.2 is a service pack release that enhances your ability to share and manage information with addition of wanted pages, comment moderation, and flexibility to allow different access permissions for registered and guest users. Project pages can now be soft-deleted and Topics view includes a new category for unassigned pages.
v2.1.1.x.x - SamePage 2.1.1 is a service pack release that introduces new built-in applications: Support and Forums. Attachment management is improved by enabling links to attachments and allowing comments to include attachments. Project management is enhanced by allowing a project to be downloaded as web site. Usability is improved by allowing the toolbar to be pinned as a left navigation bar. A number of important performance improvements are also included in this release.
v2.1.0.x.x - SamePage 2.1.0 is a minor release that includes a number of the WYSIWYG editor enhancement and usability improvements. Additional functionality includes new Calendar and Table of Contents plugins.
v2.0.0.x.x - eTouch SamePage 2.0.0 is a major release that incorporates major new functionality and improvements including project membership management, RSS plugin, personalization options for themes and daily digest. Usability of the toolbar has been enhanced in this release.
v1.2.0.x.x - eTouch SamePage 1.2.0 is a minor release that includes WYSIWYG editor enhancements, secure search across content and attachments, ability to download attachments, and comment using an email client.
 How to find which version you are using?
Check the right bottom corner of any Page in eTouch SamePage. You will find a version number that looks like v2.1.1.0.264 - reading from left to right this indicates it is major version 2, minor version 1, service pack 1, customer release 0 and build 264.
Service pack changes indicate small UI changes,minor enhancements etc. Minor version changes indicate significant UI changes or new features. A major version change indicates major functionality or significant change in the architecture, navigation etc.
