Here you will find patches for specific problems reported on a particular release of SamePage. Please note that every new release of SamePage automatically incorporates the patches given till the previous release. So you DO NOT have to apply these patches if you are already in a subsequent release of SamePage.

Patch Issues Resolved

Patch_I_3.4.1.0.36

Pages with same name as any of its parents was allowed when created using a template.

Links on newly created Pages were not being resolved once its published.

Wanted Pages were not being created on the save of a page.

Patch for Internal Link Creation(MySQL)

This patch is required if you have done a new installation of SamePage 3.3.1.0.14 using MySQL.
Issue: Unable to create link to internal pages.

Patch for Guest User Permission

This patch is required if you have done a new installation/upgrade of SamePage 3.2 .
Issue: The Anonymous user is able to edit Pages for which it does not have Edit Permission.

Patch for Indexing of pdf attachments

This patch is required if you have done a new installation/upgrade of SamePage 3.2 .
Issue: The pdf documents that are attached to a page are not getting indexed.

Patch for Delete project problem reported in 3.1

This patch is required if you have done a new installation of SamePage 3.1. It is not required if you have upgraded from an older version of SamePage to version 3.1. Users are not able to delete a project .It gives a database error. Please run the following SQL on your database schema.

Patch for Save Profile problem reported in 3.0

This patch is required for installation of 3.0 that face the problem of not being able to save the profile information.

Instructions to apply any patch

Copy the patch jar to your $INSTALL_DIR
Shutdown the tomcat server.
Run the command jar -xvf patch_X_x_x_x_x.jar
Start the tomcat server.
